Clark Veterans Day Ceremony Will Be Closed to General Public

Due to the pandemic, the annual Veterans Day Ceremony to be held November 11, Wednesday morning at Clark Veterans Cemetery will be closed for general viewing.

According to the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) website, only invited guests will be allowed to attend this year’s event along with one official representative from recognized organizations.

VFW adds that security personnel manning the cemetery gates will only allow entry to persons named on the official guest list and possess identification and/or their official invitation as proof to attend the event. Furthermore, they remind attendees to follow social distancing protocols, which includes mandatory use of a face mask and shield.

Veterans Day is observed yearly to honor all U.S. military veterans and their service.
