Clark Marriott’s Annual Run for Charity goes Online

Along with all Marriott-affiliated hotels, Clark Marriott Hotel is holding its annual fundraising event: “Run to Give” online, in hopes to raise one million pesos for the Marriott Associate Welfare Fund, and it’s beneficiary- Save the Children Philippines.

Other participating hotels include Manila Marriott, Sheraton Manila Bay, Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, and Sheraton Cebu Mactan.

Considering the pandemic and ban on social gatherings, the online fun run is open to new and annual participants who wish to complete a total distance and/or choose among 50 km, 100 km, 200 km, or 300 km categories from November 9 to December 18. Participants must sign up and register to start at P500 and record their daily progress through www.takbo.ph

An e-certificate of completion will be received after each challenge.

Participants need to run, but they can also bike or swim at their own pace and place. The online fun run provides participants with the safest and flexible options to join and enjoy the race while helping at the same time.

Started in 2017, Marriott Worldwide Business Councils (MWBC) Philippines has been organizing this charity fun run yearly, which is simultaneously conducted in the Asia Pacific as part of its Take Care programs, initiated by Marriott International.

Save the Children Philippines is a 38-year-old charity in the Philippines that caters to the betterment of children’s welfare and provides emergency aid in natural disasters both here and around the world.
