The New Clark International Airport Terminal 2 made it to the top six finalists in the 2021 World Selection of the Prix Versailles Architecture and Design Awards under the Airport Category.
Alongside Clark International Airport, other finalists are Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (Germany), Athens International Airport (Greece), South Wing Hazrat Sultan International Airport (Kazakhstan), New Plymouth Airport (New Zealand), and LaGuardia Airport, Terminal B (New York).
The winners will be announced at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France by late 2021.
A fusion of modern technology and Kapampangan culture, its interior is inspired by the surrounding lush landscape of Central Luzon.
Aiming to be the “Asia’s Next Premier Gateway”, the airport utilizes new technologies that not only complement its contemporary architectural design but also provide a seamless travel experience for passengers.
