Clark Airport, Four Medical Institutions collab for Vacc Program

CLARK, PAMPANGA- To provide private sectors with comfortable, spacious, and organized space to roll out vaccination programs. Clark International Airport (CRK), in partnership with four medical institutions in Pampanga, opened the CRK Vaccination Center last July 2.

The medical partners: The Medical City Clark (TMCC), Our Lady of Mount Carmel Medical Center (OLMCMC), Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory (PADLAB), and PRI Medical Center (PRIMC), are responsible for vaccine administration.

The Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation, established to manage the operations and maintenance of CRK, on the other hand, will facilitate the provision to drive the vaccination process alongside strict compliance and observance with pandemic protocols.

The CRK Vaccination Center has been registered and certified by the Department of Health Region 3 and the local government unit as a COVID19 vaccination site.

In a Facebook post from CRK, LIPAD CEO Bi Yong Chungunco shared that “CRK is committed to assist in the government’s drive to accelerate the vaccination roll-out in our country.” Pointing out the suitability of the vast free space at the airport terminal as a vaccination area.

“LIPAD’s participation is among its contributions to curb the pandemic and help fast track the revival of the economy and the travel industry,” Chungunco added.

Accompanying Chungunco at the contract signing were OLMCMC-COO Dr. Carmela Briones-Diaz, PADLAB-COO Dr. Mickey Gonzaga, PRIMC-COO Dr. Pio Rafael Lim, and TMCC President and CEO Dr. Almario G. Jabson.

Moreover, The local government of Angeles in Pampanga, through its City Health Offices, will be responsible for supervising and controlling the CRK Vaccination Center to ensure continuous compliance with standards and guidelines.
