Things to do

Things to do in November

It is that nice little short month before the Holidays that has us anticipating more that we may even feel overwhelmed– from planning the holidays, giving gifts, and trying not to be broke. But in this month of thanksgiving, let us celebrate November in a new way, than letting the days pass by.

Here are some of the things you can enjoy to make November, remembered:

  1. Take family photos

Go ahead and get cozy with your family, and take pictures while you’re at it. You can get them framed, sent with your cards on the holidays, or save them for your IG feed.

  1. Put Christmas decorations

If you haven’t dressed up your house with some Christmas decors, now is the time for you to do so! Put your favorite song to dance to or a holiday jingle and make that Christmas tree look alive.

  1. Get bakey

You have a recipe you want to try and master before serving it on holiday? Try it now as plenty of ingredients from fruits to vegetables are becoming more available in the market.

  1. Declutter your closet

Since it’s the rainy season a.k.a the coldest months in the Philippines, how about try cleaning the closet. You might find some old gems you can transform or simply feel comfy with your old stuff once again.

  1. Show extra kindness

The 13th of November is World Kindness Day! Go and show some extra kindness to the people you meet and watch it pass around.

  1. Be a couch potato

A little binge-watching won’t hurt. Curl up in your favorite blanket with all the chips you can have and put on some K-drama series or holiday movies, we won’t judge.

  1. Get to know Andres

We all know that November 30th is Andres Bonifacio Day so why not spend a little time learning more about him and the things he fought for. Our heroes need our hands now more than ever.

There are plenty of ways we can enjoy this month of November, and whatever it is, may it be as enjoying and memorable as the holidays we’re preparing for. We have lots to be grateful for, after all.
