McDonald’s Clark Gate in Pampanga is among the few McDonald stores in the country that pushed the boundaries of customer service- this time catering to cyclists, with biker-friendly features including the new Bike Repair Station.
The station includes essential tools for cyclists who need to carry out basic bike repairs or maintenance.
Earlier this year, McDonald’s opened itself to Ride-Thru service, a similar system to Drive-Thru but for bikes, and its Bike-And-Dine kiosk where cyclists can park securely and comfortably outside the store and enjoy their meals al fresco style. The innovative outdoor dining area features racks integrated onto the dining ledge itself, ensuring bikes remain upright, safe, and secure.
The fast-food chain’s continuous effort in promoting “Green” and “Good” stores among their ranks is part of their new identity as a sustainable restaurant. Projects like the Bike-And-Dine and Bike Repair Station are steps forward in sustainable practices alongside the store’s green building construction and efficient utility solutions.
A new feature was introduced this month at their Mandaluyong branch in partnership with eSakay, Meralco’s green mobility company, to deploy a public EV Charging Station for 2-3 wheeled EVs.
Other stores equipped with the Bike Repair Station are McDonald’s stores in Alabang West, McDonald’s P.Oliveros in Antipolo, and McDonald’s Shaw Boulevard Wack Wack.
