Google pays tribute to the Philippines’ King of Comedy Rodolfo ‘Dolphy’ Quizon with a doodle.
This year, Google Philippines celebrates the 92nd birthday of the Philippines’ King of Comedy Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon with an illustration.
The doodle shows the comedy king’s charm and humor warmed hearts that made him a household name among millions of Filipinos.
It was on July 25, 1928, in Manila when Dolphy was born. The comedy king sold peanuts and watermelon seeds in theaters in his childhood. He was able to watch movies for free that inspired him to become an actor.
Dolphy was was 83 years old when he died on July 10, 2012.
