Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Director Manuel Gaerlan took oath of office Thursday, January 14, officially replacing Noel F. Manankil, who resigned in October 2020.
Gaerlan is now the 13th president and CEO of the state-run government corporation established in 1993. He was sworn in by CDC Officer-in-Charge for Office of the Chairman and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) president and CEO Vivencio Dizon during the organizational meeting of the CDC Board of Directors (BOD), which he is a part of.

He also received 13 awards on his graduation, including the Presidential and Prime Minister Saber for besting 211 cadets.
He received his post-graduate degree in Master of Management at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), where he graduated with distinction in 2002.
