CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark Art Market buzzed with creativity as local and visiting artists displayed their works in front of the Clark Museum, drawing art lovers and spectators alike.
In celebration of National Arts Month, the market kicked off on the second weekend of February, featuring 13 merchant artists with handcrafted goods and creative works. This initiative continues the Exhibition program led by CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera at the Clark Museum since 2024.
One of the highlights was the on-location watercolor sketching session led by CDC landscape architect Melvin Nabong, who displayed 11 sketches from his 2024 and 2025 travels, capturing the beauty of urban and natural landscapes.
“I’m glad that Clark recognizes the important role artists play and the support they provide to the community.
Artists need to feel this kind of encouragement to continue their creative efforts, which reflect both individual and collective identity,” said Nabong.
“This art market initiated by CDC is one powerful way to connect artists with their community, fostering meaningful relationships and giving visibility and significance to their work,” the landscape architect added.
The weekend event offered not only paintings and live art sessions but also handcrafted decor, beaded bonsais, crochet pieces, and artisanal crafts. Visitors saw creativity in action, connected with artists, and took home one-of-a-kind pieces.
Featured art merchants included Keiquette Creations, Cutie-Chet, Gentle Moment Photography, Gamat Kapampangan, DM Clark Printing Services, Intriket, Es.quisse by Shintaro, Sufredo, mn.art_plus, and Parm’s Emporium.
This initiative helps local creatives and enriches Clark’s culture, making art more accessible to the community. The market runs every weekend until February 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in front of Clark Museum.
