Pampanga Archbishop Florentino Lavarias, DD along with philanthropist, tradesman and Apu devotee, Dr. Regis Romero II, lead the blessing and inauguration of the improved courtyard at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Christ our Lord of the Holy Sepulcher, locally known as Apu Mamacalulu Church.
Romero donated some 7 million for the beautification and improvement of the church’s courtyard. He said that the Covid-19 somehow made people more generous and he hopes it stays this way.
Furthermore, he shared that he has been a devotee because of his mother who he accompanies to the church when he was young. He adds that because of Apu, his business built up and he wishes to help in building and improving the Apu Church, hence the courtyard renovation.
